AM2431: RMII Ethernet connection without RX_ER

Part Number: AM2431

I am planning to use Eterhnet Switching HUB IC with RMII I/F to AM2431.
But that Switching HUB IC doesn't have RMII_RXER signal out.

So, could I connect that HUB IC to AM2431 ?

I am looking at "AM335x RMII Ethernet connection without RX_ER" on the TI E2E support forums.
Is AM2431 the same as AM335x?
Is it correct to connect the RXER pin to LOW?

Hi Futoshi,

If RX_ER is unused you can keep it as unconnected. If you are in schematic phase, you can use that pin for other functions by selecting the mode of pad configuration register (Ball pin no: W16, Y3 and Y12). Please refer to the Table 6-1 of the AM243x Datasheet for the pin attributes.
