Problem with TMS570 MCU development kit

Hi guys,

I have a TMS570 MCU kit. The installation instruction wants me to install the CCS.4. However, i have already installed it, therefore i only installed the savety demo and nowflash. When i started the demo, the software told me that CCS.4 was not installed. How can i solve this problem?

Would not expect the demo to call ccs in any special way. If it's feasible, perhaps try a clean ccs install.

I reinstall it again and same result shows. When i want to install the CCS, the old version can not overwrite the newer version. I need to change the folder to install it. Will there be any interference between 2 CCS running at the same computer, since my own CCS.4.2.3 is the full version one and the one required to installed is the 30 days evaluation one?

Hi Stephanie,

I have tried another computer which doesnt have any TI software. I followed the installation instruction and iinstalled everything required, but the result was the same, the demo interface showed that 'CCS 4 was not detected'. How to solve this?? It seems that there is no connection between the safety MCU demos and CCS.4. All the paths of the installation are default and i didnt change anything.

The problem was solved. I opened the CCS and imported the project from savety demo. Everything is fine now.
