TMDSEMU110-U: Are the EMU0-3 pins the same as the GPIO pins exposed on Aux board?

Hi,

Can you tell me if the EMU0-3 are the same as the GPIO on the Aux board?

from the SPRUI94 XDS110 Debug Probe (ti.com)

"Four EMU signals for GPIO
– 2 × Probe to target
– 2 × Target to probe
– These signals are replicated on the AUX connector because many of the debug adaptors for CTI-20 do not support connections with GPIO."

Hi Agustin,

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. The functionality of the EMU pins is the same as the GPIOs on the AUX connector. You can use the debug probe to set two of them as outputs, and you can read the voltage on two of the EMU pins.

They are discussed separately probably so that there is no possibility of getting the signals mixed up.

Hi Benjamin,

My plan is to use the dbgjtag command line utility. So, if I understood correctly, if I write the following line, I will be writing EMU0 and 1 and GPIOOUT0 and1.

C:\ti\ccs1230\ccs\ccs_base\common\uscif> dbgjtag.exe -f @xds110 -Y gpiopins, config=0x3, write=0x3

Do you have an up-to-date version of the DBGJTAG manual, for the version 35.35.0.0?
