I final finish everything to a point where I can look at it and have follow the steps in the startup guide, but it won’t boot?

I get the below before renaming the files per the procedure:

Rename tiboot3.bin to tiboot3-default.bin.
Rename tiboot3-am62x-gp-evm.bin to tiboot3.bin.

I get nothing on terminal. Program

If I rename files back, I get on Terminal program.

Is there something I missing (switches seem right)?

Hi Robert,

Can you share us the pics of your AM62 EVM board, just for us to know if its a GP/HS-FS device.

You only need to rename the tiboot3-am62x-gp-evm.bin as tiboot3.bin if its a GP board.

HS-FS device should boot without you having to change anything with the latest SDK release.

The only this I see during boot is if I don't do any renaming, so the link doesn't help. however, the number on the board is SK-am62-lp (meaning low power I believe)

SK-AM62-LP is a HS-FS device Robert.

Robert,

If you flash the below image:

https://dr-download.ti.com/software-development/software-development-kit-sdk/MD-PvdSyIiioq/09.00.00.03/tisdk-default-image-am62xx-lp-evm.wic.xz

you should be able to boot without any modifications.

Let me know if this is the image you are testing with and facing issue?

Without rename any it get the screen you see in my first post and nothing else on the terminal. That does not seem right to me

I reimaged again and it now boot
