AM2634: DAP error on connection core1 in DEV BOOT Mode

Hi Team,

We were trying to connect the core1 with the boot selection in DEV BOOT mode and result in DAP connection failed.

Connecting of core0 is only possible in QSPI 4s fallback mode

Is this behaviour or we are missing something?

Hi Karthik, Have you modified the gel file to disable lockstep mode?

Hello Karthikeyan,

As stated in the above response, can you confirm whether you are in lockstep or dual core mode?

If you connect to core0 then you can run the diagnostic script to print which mode the R5 Cluster is configured.

Currently the mode was set in dual core mode, still facing the same problem

I have a few clarifying questions so that I can further understand your issue:

Are you using one of the TI EVMs or a custom PCB?
How are you setting the bootmode? Can you confirm that you have the bootmode set as:
- SOP0: QSPI_D0 : 1
- SOP1: QSPI_D1 : 1
- SOP2: SPI0_CLK : 0
- SOP3: SPI0_D0 : 1
Are you using the initialization gel script for AM263x?
Can you please share the console printout when you connect to core0?
