MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM263X: gPTP target date and integration info

Hello TI support,

I had heard that a gPTP stack for AM263x is scheduled for 12/15/2023. Is that still the target date? Is there any way to get an early engineering drop?

Do you have any preliminary info about integration? Does it integrate to a large degree with the existing SDK code base? (based on lwip, etc)

Hi Jon,

Apologies for delayed response, as I was on leave.

The target date for gptp example on cpsw on AM263x is targetted for SDK 9.1, happening by end of december.

For EA drop, please use this: https://github.com/TexasInstruments/mcupsdk-core/tree/next/examples/networking/tsn/gptp_app

For lwip integration with gtp is facing memory overflow issues right now. And we are still testing with the latest LWIP version update So, we will target it with some optimizations. Hence will be in 9.2
