i also meet the question about TDA4 Platform SDK how to achieve the security compile like linux GCC Compiler Canary、PIE、NX etc.

i found the TDA4 use the Clang complier ,so i am not sure TDA4 Platform if it can achieve the securety compile,can you show a method PPT how to acheive it .

about link，i read it yesterday，but the problem is still not solve，i just want to know how i can achive the linux secure compile,If this function is implemented on the TDA4 platform, will it affect product performance? Is ecurity compilation only implemented on the SOC core, and can MCU be implemented,

Hi Josue:

A standalone function such as hello can open the compile security option parameter, but how does the makefile file report an error after adding security compilation parameters? Does TI support revision for this makefile?

Hi Kevin,

I don't recognize ti_bsp_linux - is that your local name for your installed TDA4VM Linux SDK?

Are you just adding CFLAGS="-z noexecstack" to the top-level Makefile, and expecting it to be passed to each of the component files?

Simply put, it means to compile the GCC security option parameters into a makefile based on the GCC compilation tool

We are using TI's TDA4AL chip

Hi Kevin,

What SDK are you using? The top-level Makefiles have undergone a refactoring in 9.0 SDK 9.0 w.r.t 8.x SDKs.
