LP-MSPM0L1306: CCS Theia debug problem in low power mode.

Hi everyone,

I am working on both LP-MSPM0L1306 and LP-MSPM0G3507 using CCS Theia. When I debug a code containing low-power mode operations, the system works as if it is always in Run mode. But when I stop the debug and reset the board, the system works as expected.

Are low-power modes not available in Debug mode for a reason like some clock must be active in Debug? Or is this related to CCS Theia? Have you encountered this problem before?

Have you use the latest version of the ccs theia?

Hi Gary,

Yes, I am using the latest version of the CCS Theia. Actually, I am switching between two boards and I mistakenly think both boards have the same problem. Actually, only LP-MSPM0L1306 has this problem. I am trying to run basic low-power examples but they are not working in Debug as expected. I posted another problem about LP-MSPM0L1306, you can see it below.

It looks like there is a clock management problem with LP-MSPM0L1306 in Debug mode. Could you please try to run "sysctl_power_policy_sleep_to_stop" example?

I have install the Theia 1.2.0 to the demo sysctl_power_policy_sleep_to_stop with no issues I can stop it and keep it running and the PA0 can be toggled.

Do you use the latest verison of 1.2.0?
