Hello,

We are using the TMS570LC4357-EP and would like to use use the Cortex-R4 CMSIS DSP, but the TMS570LC4357-EP is an R5 core. Will this DSP library work for an R5 core? If not, is there another version of the DSP library that can be used with a R5 core?

Thanks for the response. I am looking for more of a compatibility issue between the ARM Cortex R4 and the ARM Cortex R5. The DSP library was written for R4, but I am wondering if it will work with the R5 MCU.

Hi Justin,

Apologies for delay in my response, i was on vacation for last week.

I never did practically but i think you can use DSP library of R4 with the R5.

In the thread i shared also the customer using R4 DSP library only and they created project for TMS570LC4357.
