To have cybersecurity in UART, my customer wants to check if there is anyway to have cybersecurity in UART or disable UART in their production.
Do you have any idea on the cybersecurity in UART?
Is there any way to disable UART in their production board?

Hi Sung-IL,
UART is part of public domain and there is no specific peripheral of UART in HSM domain which needs to be handled via hardware.
However the disablement of UART can be easily done by blocking the access of UART peripherals for R5F CPUs by using System Firewalls. This needs to be part of boot-time firewall settings in HSM Boot time or Run Time Firewall options.

Here the eFuse Controller are protected by HSM Run Time Firmware (released as TIFS-MCU Firmware) -
The similar can be done for UART peripherals by the HSM Run Time Firmware.
