MSPM0L1105: Connection always fails at the second time

Hi Champ,

I am asking for my customer. They are using CCS 12.5.0.00007, and program the chip to their own board.

The device was successfully programmed for the first time, but the connection always fails at the second time.

We have tried to re-power the device after the Factory Reset, and the device can connect and program successfully again. But the next time programming would still fail.

When we connect to Target device the error message show as below.

Has the expert seen such program issue ? Any way to solve this ?

By chance, is the customer disabling the SWD pins in NONMAIN?

Hi Dennis,

Not possible, customer is still in evaluating status to program the device very often. This suspect should not occur.

Any other thought from unable re-programming the device ?

Does the customer see this same behavior if they try one of the SDK examples?

Hi Dennis,

The root cause is because Debug SWD mode is not enabled in GUI.

When it is selected "Debug Enable On SWD Pins". It could be programmed the device again.

Is there a way / workaround to have PA19.PA20 to set as GPIO mode and also retain SWD functionality for these pins at the same time ?
