LP-MSPM0C1104: Launchpad OOBE GUI not programming MSPM0C

Part Number: LP-MSPM0C1104
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Hello,

I have the LP-MSPM0C1104 connected to my computer and it's showing up as USB serial interfaces as expected. I have the GUI set to the correct serial port settings:

And when I try and program the device I do see the XDS110 blinking correctly to indicate that the GUI is talking to the XDS110, but programming fails:

I was able to successfully program the OOBE with Uniflash so is there a way to connect to the GUI without forcing the GUI to try and program it first?

Or any suggestions on what the issue is here that prevents the Launchpad from being programmed?

Munan

  • Hi Munan,

There are many factors can make the impact to the device, I can't find the root cause without doing some test.

Unfortunately I do not have the LP-C on my hand, can you forward the GUI link, and then I can try it when I get the board.

By the way, does the issue insist after you loading the code example by the UniFlash?

  • Hi Sal,

Some other GUIs have a terminal or log view which helps in these cases, but I didn't see that here.

And I could not get it to work even with the board programmed by Uniflash.

    Here's the GUI link: https://dev.ti.com/gallery/view/TIMSPGC/LP_MSPM0C1104_OOBE/ver/1.0.2/

  • Hi Munan,

This page is not the same with me, It seems not recongnize the xds port.

I got an evaluation LaunchPad board for test (not the official version of LaunchPad), and I check it okay for the connection:

And also for the blink led demo:

Please double check your connection with the GUI, or you can change a new board for test.
