There's an issue from the customer need your help:
Whether the chip MibSPI module can read Flash with four wires, because the command to read Flash is to read command input + address input and then Flash output data, and the MibSPI module reads Flash output data; That is, during the transmission process, the data transmission and reception direction of SIMO will be switched from output to input.

I understood the customer requirement:
He wants to achieve QSPI behavior over MibSPI. But unfortunately, it is not possible to achieve this behavior over MibSPI.
Even though MibSPI supports 4-wire communication, it is like a Full-Duplex communication, but here customer is looking for half-duplex communication like QSPI.
I mean in QSPI, data is not shifted simultaneously, first data shifted out and then the same lines will act as input to receive the data. Like that a half-duplex communication will be happened.
But where as in MibSPI:
As you can see there are 4 dedicated lines for SIMO and other 4 dedicated lines for SOMI. That means 4 for transmission and other 4 for reception. And transmission and reception will happen simultaneously.

So, unfortunately the customer expected behavior cannot be achieved with MibSPI. The only possible way is to communicate with the serial flash in compatible mode only, that means with one SOMI and one SIMO.
