I need more info here, what software are you rereferring  to here? Is it the SDK itself or the phy driver?

I asked the customer about your question, and they're considering entire software including application, driver, etc...

I answered them like below. Please revise these answers and add your comment.

  -  Application software using DP83869 can be reused to that using DP83TG720 as well. (maybe require a few modifications.)

  -  It is difficult to use DP83869 driver as DP83TG720, but can use it with some modifications.
