I'm looking forward to see the SMBUS sample source code for LP-MSPM0G3507.

I know that I2C sample source can be found in mspm0_sdk.

Is it compatible for I2C and SMBUS on the communication protocol?

Please advice me.

Hi Shotaro,

The SMBus source code can be found in your local installation of the MSPM0-SDK. In windows the default path will be: C:\ti\mspm0_sdk_<SDK-Version>\source\ti\smbus

Similarly, there are SMBUS examples located in the C:\ti\mspm0_sdk_<SDK-Version>\examples\nortos\LP_MSPM0G3507\smbus.

I2C and SMBUS are close enough that in most applications you can treat them as compatible, but there are some differences that are summarized well here: SMBus Compatibility with an I2C Device
