AM2432: Warm Reset Watchdog support

Hi Team,

Based on a previous e2e thread, the Warm Reset option on the watchdog was not supported on SDK8.2--is it supported in a newer release of the SDK?

Hi Ryan,

Watchdog reset is not supported in this device. The RTI WWD (windowed watchdog) will generate a non-maskable interrupt to the CPU if the watchdog is serviced outside the time window defined by the configuration, or if the watchdog is not serviced at all.

Hi QJ,

The customer still wants to try rebooting to get the system out of all stuck states--

What is the recommendation if/when ARM exceptions happen (data abort, pre-patch abort, undefined instruction) and the system is rebooted?

Hi Ryan,

You can manually generate a warm reset in watchdog interrupt service routine.
