We purchased the subject probe some months ago.
We tried to connect to the target using a TI14-pin adaptor but it did not work.
After checking the connection, we realized that the adapter was incorrectly implemented.
The connector seems to be rotated 180 degrees. See attached photo.
Information on the subject product is also attached for your reference.
We don't know if it is a stand-alone problem or production lot problem.
Please confirm and correct this problem as we may purchase and use this adapter in the future.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out about this. Just to confirm, you bought this on ti.com?
Best Regards,
Ben Collier
Hello.
Thank you for your reply.
Yes. We bought this on TI.com.
The order summary is attached for your reference.
Best regards,

I'm looking at my adaptor and I would agree with your assessment. Yours looks incorrect.
Can you take a picture of the other side?
Thank you for your confirmation.
The other side looks correct. Please confirm the attached photo.
I have cut the pin as shown below for development to proceed.
This allows reverse insertion, the required pins are connected and the probe works.
Yes, thank you. The connector definitely looks defective. I have contacted the group responsible for the manufacturing of this debug probe to investigate further.
I have cut the pin as shown below for development to proceed.
This allows reverse insertion, the required pins are connected and the probe works.
Please note that you still have pin 15 cut.
This pin is tied to nRESET. It may impact your debug experience:

Thank you for your note regarding nRESET.
I checked and nRESET was omitted when converted to TI14 pin.
It seems to be OK.
Thank you also for contacting your manufacturing group.
This issue has been resolved.
