AM2434: [ERROR] XMODEM send failed, no response OR incorrect response from EVM OR cancelled by user .

I am going through the AM243x MCU+ SDK(EVM), in Getting Started-> EVM Setup, I cannot complete "Flash SOC Initialization Binary".

I got the "C C C" printed in the Terminal and I closed the UART before run the Python command.

I am using SDK 9.0 and Openssl 1.1.1 .

The following picture is the error when I run the Python command.

The following images show the Python and OpenSSL versions installed on my computer.

Hi Weijian,

These are scenarios possible:

1. Your board is non hsfs board.(in this case you can use SDK 8.6 and use sbl null from that version and it should work)

2. You can restart your board once and try again.(May be ROM boot loader timed out and trying again may work for you)

Thank you for your reply.

As you suggested, I used SDK 8.6 and default_sbl_null.cfg and tried many times, but the result was the same.

When executing a command 2, the command window stays at "0%" for a long time.

Later, the same error message will appear.

Can you send the picture of the board, and also mention the revision of the board?

Please note at this point i suspect it may be a faulty board, but will need to confirm it once. Do you have any spare board, can you try with that also?

And please follow the sequence of connecting power cable first and jtag cable next

Hi Nilabh,

Thank you very much.

I found that running the command on the new board was successful (TMDS243GPEEVM).

Does this mean that the previous board has been broken?
