To find time period by connecting quadrature pulse generator using controller TMS570LS4357 quadrature encoder pulse , in the driver code which will be used to find time period , so that i will find frequency , can u tell me function will be useful in driver code, as soon as possible

Hi Jeev,

QCPRD register will provide the period between the two position events.

As you can see the deltaT storing the period to calculate the velocity of motor.

sir it geting in QCPRD register is 3,3,0,0,2, like this its varing sir , through this how we calculate frequency sir

On my understanding we should not get these low values for 50Hz input frequency. Something is wrong, can you please share your entire project including HALCoGen files?

I will verify your configurations and i will try to reproduce the same issue at my end as well. If necessary, then i will create a quadrature waveforms with 50Hz frequency and will test and debug the issue at my end.
