AM2434: About absolute encoder protocols

Motor Control SDK 9.1 for AM243x supports Hiperface DSL, EnDat 2.2 and Tamagawa. Future SDK releases will add support for BiSS-C and Nikon A-Format.

Hi

Certain protocols like Hiperface DSL provide signal strength measurement which indicates the noise, and the controller can take actions based on that. Also, all protocols provide CRC on the position data and in certain cases additional data as well (depending on the protocol). So it depends on the protocol specification.
