In order to debug the watchdog feature of the onboard PMIC, it's necessary to decouple nRST pin from the POR circuits.
There's no advice in the user manual regarding this but fortunately I see there is R432 in the nRST signal line.
Before I put my soldering iron to the board, is it correct that I have to depopulate R432 and populate R431 instead? Is there another method I've overlooked?
I would suggest that the next iteration of this board has a jumper such that we can switch easily between R432 and R431 positions. Also the nRST signal needs a test point so that we can verify the watchdog timeout with a scope.
Many thanks.
Kier,
Yes that is correct, pull nRST high by depop R432 and populate R431. This is the correct way to do this.
I will take your suggestions into consideration for the next revision of this board.

Brennan
