TMS570LC4357: display function UART

dear sir i should display data present in variable , like example "speed = 23 kmph " , variable name plus value present in suffix after that through docklight application using UART protocol from micro controller ,

sciDisplayText(sciREG1,&Speed, 2U); using this displayText function .if trying using this function in ascii side variable is display data present in variable is showing some other value , how solve this problem ,please sir can u reply as soon as possible,

dear sir like iam trying to display speed distance , rpm , frequency , direction through logic which u gave , but in direction its forward or back ward ,

It is purely depending on your requirement. If you want to display the text, then you can display only the text.

I show you how to display text and decimal values in my example right. Please understand the logic and do it in the same way.
