MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM243X: Where to find description of EXTINTn

Hi all,

My customer would like to know how to use EXTINTn pin to generate interrupt. However, there are very little description about EXTINTn in both TRM and datasheet. I can't find EXTINTn in the MAIN domain interrupt map. Where I can find more information about this pin?

Hi Hang,

I'll try and look this up for you early next week. Initially, though, I would say you can just implement this as any other GPIO input -> interrupt on the same pin. But it does look like there should be some dedicated interrupt mapping.

Hi Hang,

I was able to finally find it in our AM243x TRM under the 9.4.1.1.2 GICSS0 SPI Interrupt Map. The signal is active-low, with a high to low transition on the EXTINTn pin triggering the interrupt.

Is that enough information for your application? Let me know if that helps.

Ok that's for the trigger part. The trigger source this pin corresponds to when it comes to software? Also, it seems that this interrupt is mostly the same as a GPIO interrupt, what's difference here?

Hi Hang,

Looks like all of the GICSS0 SPI events map to events 32-256 of each A53 core. Does this help?
