TMS570LS3137: Cant find ETB in ETM

Part Number: TMS570LS3137

I am trying to understand ETM interface in TMS570LS3137. The manual doesn't describe much and ask to refer ETM-R4 specification. Looking at ETM-R4 specification, I found following.

On some other older posts i see that TMS570 does not have ETB. If true why this deviation, what am i missing? If not, whats the size and where is it mentioned in TMS570 reference manual.

Also is there any application note which specifically talks about the ETM interface of TMS570?

Yes, the TMS570LS3137 does includes ETM.

Thanks for your reply, but i guess you did not fully go through my question. I know TMS570LS3137 has ETM, i am asking about ETB. Please go through my question again.

Hi Devendra,

The ETB is not supported.

If ETB is selected for tracing, I get an error message:

Thanks Mr. Wang, Sorry for getting back late, i also tried and have the same behaviour. But my question is why TMS has deviation with the ETM-R4 specification. If there is a deviation where it is mentioned in the manual.

On ARM Cortex-R4, the ETM trace data stream is either stored in an on-chip memory buffer (ETB) or exported to an external tool using a trace port (TPIU).
