LP-AM243: profinet demo

Hello Champs,

TIA V15 + S7-1200 + LP-AM243 + SDK08.03.00.18 + profinet demo

Customer wants to use it for profinet product development. But there is a problem about communication between the net ports: he can only  connect one net to siemens tia v15，the another net port can not be used! why?

Does the two  LP-AM243 ethernet ports support switch mode?

    Hello Champs,

    More information updated from customer.

    Customer tried the sdk08.01, and it can be use with net port switch function!
    So, the problem is in sdk08.03 software. Is it a bug in SDK 8.03?

    And so, he think obtaining a new version of the sdk would be a better way.  but he doesn't know if there will be any other issues.

    Hi Shine,

    We no longer support profinet stack from 08.03.18 sdk.

    AM243x MCU+ SDK: Full Protocol Stacks from TI

    Yes AM243x is a two port profinet switch,

    Could you please ask the customer here to move to latest Stack and use Am243x-evm (as the current stack size fits only inDDR).

    PROFINET RT: Evaluation version is available Now!

     

    Dear Sitara Champions,

     

    We are happy to announce TI has negotiated a temporary license agreement allowing customers who purchased the AM243x / AM64x “F” device option access to the TI PROFINET Device stack for evaluation. Installers for SDK8.6.0.47 which includes PROFINET RT support are available on MySecureSW.  For access to the SDKs, please send an email to secsw-sitara-industrial-coms-approval@list.ti.com mailing list.
