These are part of the Programmable Real-Time Unit and Industrial Communication Subsystem - Gigabit (PRU_ICSSG) which is included in the device. The Technical Reference Manual has an entire chapter dedicated to the PRU_ICSSG.

Thanks for your prompt response. The sprach6 document is very generic and does not even mention this peripheral. Can you please post a link to the Technical Reference Manual?

Looking through the document for your awareness to better understand what is presented, the protocols outlined in Chapter 2 of the document all use the Industrial Ethernet Peripheral that is part of the PRU_ICSS/PRU_ICSSG.
