What would be the best training module to use with TM4C123GH6PM? I see document SSQU015 suggests using a CC3100 Booster Pack, but i am wondering if you all have just the wifi module i can connect to and learn to work with?

If this is a TI boosterpack then it will work with a EK-TM4C123GXL LaunchPad or any compatible TI LaunchPad. However, we don't have a software for TM4C123 to interface with the Wifi BoosterPack. You will need to check with the CC3100 team for any software example. Please open a new thread specifying CC3100 as your part number when querying about CC3100.

Hello Charles,

The document I am referring to is "Embedded System Design using TM4C LaunchPadTM Development Kit". Oh I see. Would there be something else you would recommend working with the TM4C to start working with a WIFI module or anything generic would work?

Hi,

The old TivaWare version has some wifi example for TM4C. The latest TivaWare, the example has been intentionally removed because they are not up to date and we recommend people to directly work with the CC3100 product line to get the associated host side software for Wifi bringup. You can download https://www.ti.com/tool/download/SW-TM4C/2.1.4.178 and you can find example in C:\ti\TivaWare_C_Series-2.1.4.178\examples\boards\ek-tm4c1294xl-boost-cc3100 but we will not support it. Again, check with the CC3100 and should have the recommended host side hardware/software to go along with the Wifi devices.
