MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM243X: Is there a enet driver for DP83826

Hi all,

My customer is using DP83826 with am243x. According to AM243x MCU+ SDK: Ethernet PHY Integration Guide, one need source and header file to implement phy driver, however, the sdk only have source and header for dp83822, dp83867, dp83869, and does not have dp83826.

Where we can find source and header for dp83826, or customer has to implement it on their own?

Hi Hang,

We have provided the PHY driver as a reference for customer to develop any other phy driver on thier own.

You can also get the phy driver file from the PHY team which is for linux but it can be adopted for RTOS also.

I also got this info that dp83822 phy driver should work fine with dp83826e phy also. Again this is in reference to linux driver.

It should hold true for RTOS also, Please ask customer to try the same.

Hi Nilabh,

Customer is trying the dp82822 driver and they have some issues.

Firstly, they're not able to select dp83822 in the syscfg, so they extracted the syscfg generated codes, modify them and disable syscfg to use dp83822. This may cause issue, how to add dp83822 to the syscfg options? Below is their modification on the extract syscfg codes.
