AM2632: Which document to follow for MPU firewall settings?

Hi Team,

My customer has inquired about MPU firewall settings.

It seems that the MCU+ SDK (Ver.09.00.00) and the AM263x Security Hardware addendum (SPRUJ41) say different things. Which should they follow?

From SDK:

No indication about L2OCRAM_BANK0_SLV
0x5360 0000 ～ 0x5360 0400 can access HSM
0x5000 0000 ～ 0x5360 0000 can access all AIDs

From SPRUJ41:

Has indication about L2OCRAM_BANK0_SLV
Start Address = 0x0000 0000 and End Address = 0xFFFF FFFF are different

Hi Mari Tsunoda,

You got confused with the understanding.

Hardware Security Addendum talks about the hardware capability for the firewall settings.

MCU+ SDK talks about the firewall settings configured by TIFS-MCU when loaded into the system in case of HSFS device.

TIFS-MCU documentation talks about the firewall settings configured by MCU+ SDK when loaded into the system in case of HSSE device (Out of Box Configuration).
