AM2634-Q1: AM2634-Q1 to AM263P4-Q1 Migration

Hi Team,

My customer is considering the migration process from AM623x to AM263Px and were reading the migration overview. Other than the additional features on the AM263Px, is there anything to be careful of when migrating? They do not plan on using GPMC.

    Hi Mari,

    I would say the biggest difference is going to be moving from using the QSPI peripheral to using the OSPI peripheral. Even if they want to continue using a QSPI device, they will need to make updates to reflect the change in data access. The differences in data access makes AM263 to AM263P migration not software compatible for the QSPI/OSPI module.
