Thank you for your response.

To understand how the Ethernet stack is implemented I found that is not easy to follow the examples and track it because it uses so many modules, I need to build it on my own and deal with registers to understand what is the flow of data from the moment that the physical layer has the data till it stored in memory, what is the registers used and how to know the location of the packet received.

but anyway I will try to check out the materials you sent and I hope I reached something

Building a driver from scratch is time consuming and It is better to use the one TI developed but I need to understand the flow to catch with the APIs' concept

Please check this: AM243x MCU+ SDK: Enet LLD Introduction

Whyd do you want to build the ethernet driver from scratch, as we do not recommend customer to do so. We generally recommend customer to use Enet LLD driver, as CPSW is a complex switch with host of capability and for a customer to build a driver from scratch would be a difficult. 

Can you please explain more details on your use case or why do you need a driver to be built from scratch

I do not want to build the driver from scratch, I want to know the way of dealing with the driver because I saw that the examples uses a lot of modules and files so I got lost many times, for example I want to see the Ethernet payload and print the content I can not find an API to do the required, I am sure that this API is implemented somewhere but I can not find it, the example "enet_l2_cpsw_am243x-lp_r5fss0-0_freertos_ti-arm-clang" print only statistics about the received frame without showing any data

Thank you this is helpful, one last question I saw that there is many different APIs for Ethernet like ICSSG, CPSW and ETHPHY, how can I differentiate between them and what is the recommended to be used while developing python desktop application that sends Ethernet packets to the AM234x?
