MSPM0L1306: Transimpedance using internal OPAMP

Part Number: MSPM0L1306

Team,
We do have a SDK example for the Transimpedance Amplifier topology:
https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slaae81
https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?node=A__ALf4fRE6372zuf9agaD2dQ__MSPM0-SDK__a3PaaoK__LATEST

-Do we have a reference for the Photodiode that has been used for the SW SDK example?
-Are we planning a more elaborate lab that showcase some specific use case (for example: Some specific light wavelength, or give some precision that could be achieved with the on-chip analog including tolerance of on-chip/discrete componenets, ..etc)?

FYI - the HTML version of SLAAE81 does not seem to be working:
https://www.ti.com/document-viewer/lit/html/SLAAE81#GUID-47368C9A-8B9C-4786-89E7-A766D1FAB226/GUID-DC9BBFD0-5C9A-4739-8D20-B0E9A9B02EC3

Thanks in advance,

Anber

  • Hi Anber

The light wavelength and so on may depend on the sensor(for this case is PD) and Rf resistor.

But from MCU side, we focus more on the signal process. In this case, the analog integrated with MCU is ADC, so if customer want to evaluate MCU, the spec of ADC(such as bit-length) should be considered.
