AM2434: no UART log when running enet_l2_cpsw demo

Hi BU,

I am asking this question for a Mass-Market customer. We run the enet_l2_cpsw demo under DEV BOOT mode, already use load_dmsc_hsfs file to do the SOC initialization before downloading the project. But we still don't see any thing prompt in UART terminal of CCS when running the demo. Already checked the terminal number, it is ok.

Maybe it is not related to the enet_l2_cpsw, because I use an empty project and just output debugp log (UART log enabled) but still no any contents in UART terminal. However AM263x-CC doesn't have this issue. Can you give some advices?

Can you please share the snippet of your Windows device manager -> Ports window

Like the one shared above.

Now the point to note here is that, the FTDI sends out signal and creates 4 additional ports (COM37, COM38, COM39, COM40) in this case as shared above.

The CCS terminal shows prints in the COM37 in my case. Based on your snippet or port connections, it might be some other COM port showing the output. You can check the AM243x schematics to understand how the UART signals and connections are lined out.

I suspect the issue to be incorrect COM Port selection in the CCS terminal window. If this does not fix it, we can try further debugging.
