TMS570LC4357: how to do/ access watchdog reset in usermode ?

Hi,

I want to use watchdog reset access (where i will enable and disable a N2HETGIO1 based pins) and (EMIF RAM to write max and min values for the watchdog) in TMS570LC4357 in Usermode. Right now, when iam not able to access watchdog in usermode. can anyone please help me here ?

Hi Bharath Kumar,

It is not possible to write into the DWD (Digital Watchdog) registers in user mode.

As you can see the write into these registers only possible with privileged mode only. So that means it won't be possible to write into these registers in user mode.

Thanks for the response. Can we access N2HETGIO1 pins in user mode ? I want to configure a ping and enable a n2hetgio1 pin in usermode. So, is it possible ?

Yes, it is possible, we can write to N2HET registers in user mode.
