TMDSEMU110-U: Not detected on COM port despite troubleshooting according to user manual

Part Number: TMDSEMU110-U

I am using standalone TMDSEMU110-U to flash bare metal TMS320F2800157Q1 ic. Whenever I connect the debugger to my laptop, I cannot see the device (or any change from previous view on refreshing) in the device manager. Hence, I cannot flash my programme through CCS IDE.

I went through the below mentioned links but no luck.

  1. Changing microUSB cable to one which is known to be working surely.
  2. XDS Emulation Software (EMUPack) Download downloading and installing windows x64 version 9.2
  3. XDS110 Debug Probe (ti.com) (Troubleshooting -Flashing bootloader Option 1 as I do not have any other debugger with me.)

    2. Tiva C Series TM4C1294NCPDT Microcontroller Data Sheet datasheet (Rev. B) for pinouts
  4. Updating CCS studio
