May I have question about AM273x mmWave MCU+SDK?

Question 1:

In MMWAVE MCUPLUS SDK User Guide (4.5.0.2) 4.4. How to run mmWave demo with LVDS-based instrumentation

(page 53)

LVDS data flow means as this?

AM273x LVDS hard ware ---[R5F]---> CSIRX buffer ---[EDMA]---> HWA memory

Question 2:

Is there demo of send directly HWA memory from LVDS recieve data?

Question 3:

Is there device driver/sample project for LVDS?

If there is, I want to get API guide.

Question 4:

LVDS data format is thart one TX per lane, So we can use 4TX?

Hi GR,

1. The AM273x LVDS interface is a TX only interface intended to pass raw radar ADC samples to off-device instrumentation. The basic setup would be:

Radar EVM -> CSI -> AM273x -> LVDS -> External Instrumentation. Devices like the VX1000 are the intended end-point https://www.vector.com/us/en/products/products-a-z/hardware/vx1000/

2. I don't think there is any SDK demo utilizing the LVDS interface

3. See answer to question 2.

4. Intention is to support 1 ADC data stream per TX channel
