TM4C123GH6PZ: Locking everytime i try to program it

Part Number: TM4C123GH6PZ
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Hello!

I am currently trying to program a TM4C123GH6PZT with MikroE mikroProg Programmer with a firmware (provided by my company) that was working on other versions of theTM4C123, once i try to upload the firmware to the board it enters lock mode. I am able to unlock the board using the LMFlash Programmer but can't seem to make the firmware work. Can you help me?

Regards,

Gregório

  • Hi,

program a TM4C123GH6PZT with MikroE mikroProg Programmer with a firmware (provided by my company) that was working on other versions of theTM4C123,

What is the other TM4C123 part number that is working compared to TM4C123GH6PZT? Are they the same PZ package? Are they the same board design? Are you saying the firmware loaded to another TM4C123 is working and will not lock? What do you mean by lock? You can't connect to the board after the code is loaded? There must be some difference between the working board and the non working board if the same firmware is used. What is the difference? If you can trace the difference then it will be easier to know the cause of the problem. Did you use the same MikroE probe to load the same code to the working board? Please note that we have no knowledge of MikroE probe. Do you have another debug probe like XDS110 or XDS200 that you can try to connect to the board? Do you have the same problem?

I am able to unlock the board using the LMFlash Programmer but can't seem to make the firmware work.

LM Flash programmer only support ICDI debug probe. In another word, you can only use the unlock feature if you use ICDI debug probe. Uniflash can be used to unlock the device if you use debug probe like XDS110 or XDS200. However, I don't think Uniflash supports MikroE. You will need to contact MikroE vendor if they provide an utility to unlock the deivce.

  • Hi,

Yes they are the same PZ package and in the same board design. I mean by lock that i cant connect to the board after the code is loaded. I will try to spot a difference as i am using the same mikroE and dont have another debug probe.

    Already thankful,

    Gregório
