CAN Bus corruption

I'am using tms570. I programmed it to send CAN meesages constantly boud rate at 250kbit. I listen CAN messages via peak view. I set baudrate at 250kbit at peak view too. But if I set Peak view boud rate higher at first such as 1Mbit and then to 250kbit, it stops sending CAN messages until I power-off and on to chip. IF I set peak view bod rate to 5 kbit and then to 250kbit it keeps sending the CAN messages, doesn't require to power off and on. Only if I set it higher at first. What it can be the cause of it ?

Hi Zeynep,

I tested this behavior with my peak view and below CAN code, however i didn't see the issue you are taling about.

Here is my tested code:

3603.CAN_TEST_POLL_LC4357.zip

I tested as below.

1. I created the project with 500Kbps baudrate

2. Now i kept the baudrate to 1Mbps on PCAN view and started to run the code, as expected i didn't receive any data as there is a mismatch in the baudrate

3. Now i just closed the PCAN view without reset my board, and now i opened the PCAN view with right baudrate of 500Kbps and immediately i was able to receive the data correctly.

Please verify my code and procedure, correct me if i need to make any changes in my code or procedure.

Thank you for your help. I solve the problem by enabling auto bus on.
