Due to some reasons, the FPGA chips on our original product need to be replaced with MCU AM263x series chips. When creating the schematic, we don't know if we need to expand RAM externally. Do engineers have a way to inform us how much RAM is needed to run our code when porting it from FPGA to MCU?

We wouldn't have an ability to estimate something like that, I would recommend you make those inquiries with any software experts you might have, but no one on our team has tried to port FPGA functionality into one of these devices so it's impossible for us to guess how much RAM would be required to do so.
