MSPM0L1306: DSSM and SWD factory reset

Team,

Could you please help with the below:

We are currently working with the MSPM0l1306, for which we were able to flash and verify the MAIN region via SWD.

According to the MSPM0L Technical Reference Manual it is required to perform a factory reset to reset the NONMAIN region followed by flashing of correct NONMAIN data.

 We are specifically interested in the SWD factory reset via Debug Subsystem Mailbox (DSSM) and the SEC-AP, however there is no additional information about which commands should be transfered to the DEBUGSS in order to trigger a factory reset.
Also, some subsequent questions: 

  • Is the access to the DSSM via SEC-AP enabled by default (in security Level 0)?
  • How are the DSSM TX/RX registers mapped to the SEC-AP?
  • How can the factory reset process be polled for completion?
  • Is there a way to gather additional logging/status information (e.g. via CFG-AP)?
