Hi BU team,

I am asking this issue for my customer VMAX Power.

They are developing HSM firmware solution, and found that after changing to new version device with ROM version and HSM ROM version updated, the OTP key writer failed to program the key. The following is the log info of ROM version and HSM ROM version:

They are using TIFS_08_05_00_07.

Please check if they need to use new version TIFS as well. Thanks.

Hi Will,

The device is SR1.1 for which customer is requested to use -

OTP Key Writer valid for SR1.1 device. I hope this helps.

I want to double confirm with you that the above version OTP key writer is only for SR1.1 device but not for old version devices, right? And how about TIFS package, is this package suitable for both version devices?

Hi Will,

The TIFS-MCU package is released separately and is irrespective of SR version because it has not dependency on TI keys. You can use the same TIFS version firmware on both the devices (if you have same customer keys programmed) irrespective of the SR version.
