Hello,

We have an existing code, which cause a reset of the controller in rare cases. The investigation so far has not been able to further narrow down the circumstances of the reset.

We can use TRACE32 Performance Analyzer over JTAG, but it works only with the "PERF.METHOD StopAndGo". Typically, the view shows only around 80% runtime.

The communication interfaces are already in use and do not provide enough capacity to send further messages. It is also an additional code, which leads to a performance issue with the timing.

Is there an option to trace or analyze the code execution without intrusion?

Which further options are possible to analyze and get performance information about an existing code?

Why don't we do below method to find out the root cause?

Set a breakpoint at reset entry and run the code, if our application hits this breakpoint then verify the R14 and LR register values.

These two register values will give address closer with the last execution. Actually, these registers will hold the next address to be executed but unfortunately, we jump from that execution but still will hold those values.
