AM2732-Q1: Does the AM2732EVM support receiving DMM data?

I am designing a radar system and I want to use the DCA1000 to feed back radar data to the AM2732 via the DMM. However, I found that the 60PIN of the official EVM of AM2732 seems to only have trace channels. This seems to be incompatible with the DMM interface of the 60PIN of DCA1000. Does the AM2732EVM not support the DMM ? Is AWR2944 the same?

Hi Simon,

Unfortunately the current DCA1000 does not support that playback feature for AM273. The AM273 EVM breaks out trace interface to the J19 connectors. Trace is nearly all MUX'd with the DMM interface. See the AM273x datasheet, section 5.3.4 DMM Signal Descriptions for details.

Can I solve the problem of mixing trace and DMM interfaces through AM273 software configuration?

Hi Simon,

The IOMUX is of course entirely software configurable. You can use whatever pins you want to from an MCU pinout perspective. However, I don't think there is compatibility/configurability on the DCA1000 itself.
