TM4C123BH6PZ: Syntax Error in the BSDL File

Hi TI Team,

While evaluating with the JTag Software we are encountering the Syntax error in the 252 Line regarding the 

"phase error, expecting ATTRIBUTE_Boundary_Length' and 'attribute INSTRUCTION_PRIVATE'

Kindly do the needful to solve it share us the updated file to proceed further for scanning the IC.

    Hi,

      Line 522 is a private instruction to access the Cortex-M4F DAP scan segments (DPACC, APACC). Not sure what tool you are using to read the BSDL file. I will suggest you check with the tool vendor how to recognize private instructions. Please refer to the below article about private instructions for BSDL.

     I tend to think your tool will produce the same error on a different TM4C123 part number. Here is one for a PM (64-pin) package. You can try to read it and I think you will see the same error. These BSDL files have been out there for many years. I have not come across a reporting like yours albeit other issues have been reported.
