Hi There,
Our product is using TMS570LC4357 MCU which contains 2 Arm Core MCU and 2x EEPROM copies. In the product design, we will have configurable product data and operation parameters to be stored inside the EEPROM.
We have tried use UNIFLASH + Debug Probe X110DS to read out the EEPROM data from TMS570LC4357 MCU and modify the EEPROM content based on the memory address. We then save back the modified EEPROM data into MCU by UNIFLASH + Debug Probe X110DS. However, after we power recycle, the modified EEPROM data is gone and the EEPROM data is still old copy. Do you know why this happen? Is there anything wrong with our steps?
We just want to use TI Uniflash tool to comine the latest firmware and EEPROM data as one full software image. By doing so, we can flash once in our factory with the software and latest EEPROM data. How should we achieve this feature?
