In MSP432E401Y datasheet, the Maximum current per output pin is mentioned as 64mA.
As per the below statement in the datasheet, GPIOs are configurable only upto 12mA
How much is the maximum current per output pin?
Is it possible to drive an output device connected to a GPIO with 60mA current?
Also, while that 64 mA is tempting, the derating to 18/12 mA appears to be due to lifetime concerns:
And Absolute Maximums are just that, limits that you should stay far away from for reliable operation of the device. In fact that 64 mA might be the current where the wirebond melts, so you obviously want to stay far away from that!
