Dear TI,

I have following MSPM0G3507 Board , and I am trying to use two capture inputs at two PIN(PA2 and PA3) with same timer (TIMG8) but I am getting resource conflict issue , Can you please help what is the reason behind that or Can use two capture input by same timer.

Because I check datasheet for the same and I found there are two IC channel available but still facing issue.

Hi Karan,

It is possible to do this. What other modules do you have enabled in SysConfig? Something else may be using one of these pins.

Thank you for replay,

Right now I am using lots of modules for my application like ADC with 7 channels , MCAN, GPIO and GPIO EXTI , all Pin are different to each other ,

In order to cross verify , I just try to implement stand alone TIMER CAPTURE with same configuration as I said above but still I getting resource conflict

Can you please try that thing in your side as well,

It works on my end. Please see below:

Are you perhaps trying to do this with two TIMER-CAPTURE modules enabled? If so I don't think SysConfig supports that, as the first module will reserve the TIMG8 peripheral. To do it in a single sysconfig module you can enable the "Multi" input capture mode configuration.
