Is it possible to change the password on a MSPM0G1107 after it has been programmed? What would be the process?

Customer would also like to lock FLASH access to every device with a unique password, but be able to look up this password based on a unique identifier in the device. Is the TraceID available to be read through a debugger if the FLASH is locked? Is there a recommended way to check a unique identifier for a MSPM0G1107 so the customer can check their internal database for the password for that device to then regain access to FLASH memory?

Hello Will,

We don't have the FLASH password function. We can just set "write protection" for FLASH memory or set password for SWD. If you want to set password for SWD, you can use the Sysconfig: Configuration NVM -> Boot Configuration Routine (BCR) Configuration -> Debug Security Policy Configuration -> Enable Application Debug Access -> Enabled with password match and set your password.

Hello .

We are very aware of setting the SWD password. Manual setting sacrifices our output. Can you tell me how to use the tool to set this for high-volume products?
