MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM243X: SOC Reset fail if not reset flash chip

The behavior is related to the flash.

Would you mind sharing the connection that you made for the flash reset. Did you leave the pin open.

Hi Kallikuppa,

   This problem on our own board. Flash reset pin only connect with a generial gpio of AM2434. After connect flash reset pin with MCU_RESETSTAT_z, the problem disappear.

   What I'm curious about is why AM243X fail to load flash when restarts in 8D mode.

I assume you have a pullup on the GPIO pin.

  The TRM does explain why the flash needs to be reset.

  One strange point is that I replaced the flash chip with MX25LM256 and directly configured it into 1s-1s-1s 4-Byte mode, without any problems.

Are you using the flash for boot. after configuring the flash, did you do a warm reset of the SOC without resetting the flash and retest?
