We are designing our own board with the RM48L952 with Trace.
The MIPI Trace pinout in design files for the TMDSRM48HDK are not consistent with "MIPI Debug & Trace Connector Recommendations", version 1.20 from the MIPI Alliance or the "XDS560v2 System Trace JTAG Emulator Technical Reference" from Spectrum Digital.
I cannot find any pinout information on the TI or BlackHawk websites. The only thing I can find on the TI website uses EMU## nomenclature, which doesn't apply to the RM48L952.
My concern is that the reference design shows pin 17 as TRACECTRL whereas everything else shows pin 17 as TRC_DATA[0][0] and all the data pins after that don't agree.
Where can I find the definitive guide for the pinout of the MIPI Trace connector for the RM48L952 and the TMDSEMU560V2STM-UE?
Hi James,
I started working on this thread and will provide you an update ASAP.

Hi James,
Can you please refer this below emulation and trace headers reference guide from TI.
Emulation and Trace Headers Technical Reference Manual (Rev. I)

That document uses the EMU## nomenclature, which is at odds with the naming convention for the RM48L952, so it is not much help.
Hi James,
Please follow the ETM pin out as per the HDK schematic only.
My senior colleague tested ETM functionality on HDK boards with the XDS560v2, so please proceed with the HDK schematic only.
I also compared the TMS570x HDK ETM MIPI connections with RM48 HDK and they both are same, so please follow the HDK schematic only.

Is there any chance that TI will publish official documentation that addresses this issue?
For instance, will the Emulation and Trace Headers Technical Reference Manual be updated to include the RM48L952?
